Our wedding will begin at 2:30pm on April 9th in Barberstown Castle.

Here’s everything else you need to know.

TRANSPORTATION

We kindly ask all wedding guests to arrange their own transportation to the venue.

We have reserved a block of rooms at Barberstown Castle Hotel (limited availability). To receive our special rate, please contact the hotel and mention our wedding code: C&D0904

ATTIRE

Our dress code is semi-formal. Please dress comfortably but still look sharp.

How to get there?

We kindly ask all wedding guests to arrange their own transportation to the venue.

  • By car:

Feel free to use this handy Google Maps link to input your starting point and find the quickest route to drive to the venue. Or check the map below.

 

  • By taxi:

If you prefer the convenience of a taxi, you can easily book one through the "Freenow" app. A trip from the City Centre to the wedding venue typically costs between €30 and €40.

 

  • By bus:

For those opting for public transport, you'll find accessible routes via lines 120, 120A, and 120B, departing from Dublin City Centre. These buses will drop you off to Barberstown Castle (from Dublin, Stop 133851, Barberstown Cross). The cash fare is €2,60 or €2 with a leap card.

How to get there?

We kindly ask all wedding guests to arrange their own transportation to the venue.

  • By car:

Foley's Bar is accessible by car; however, parking space on the streets may be very limited. If you choose to drive, we recommend using nearby parking facilities like Q-Park (website) on Dawson Street or Stephen's Green. You can use this handy Google Maps link to enter your starting point and find the quickest route to the venue. Alternatively, you can check the map below.

 

  • By taxi:

If you prefer the convenience of a taxi, you can easily book one through the "Freenow" app (website). The fare of such trip will be very dependant on your starting point. 

 

  • By bus:

The closest bus stop is Merrion Row (Stop Number: 748). The following buses serve this stop: 38, 38A, 38B, 38D, 39, 39A, and 70. The cash fare is €2.60, or €2 with a Leap Card.

  • By tramway:

The tram line will get you quite close to your destination. Take the Green Line and get off at "St. Stephen's Green." From there, you can stroll through St. Stephen's Green Gardens and continue down Merrion Row to Foley's Bar. It's about an 8-10 minute walk, but you might find yourself distracted by the beautiful park along the way!
